Our Story

Glanz Signs was founded in 1956 by Bill Glanz, who built the company on a straightforward foundation: exceptional craftsmanship, dependable service, and honest relationships with the architects, designers, contractors, and businesses who trusted him with their projects.

Bill’s sons, Dave and Don Glanz, carried that foundation forward for decades, growing Glanz Signs into one of San Diego County’s trusted names in commercial and architectural signage.

Today, the Glanz legacy continues into its third generation through the Glanz Family, while the company is led day to day by an experienced team that worked alongside Dave and Don for many years. That continuity matters. The technology, materials, and capabilities of the sign industry have changed dramatically, but the standards Glanz Signs was built on have not.

For 70 years, we have designed, fabricated, and installed custom signage throughout San Diego County. Our work ranges from architectural and illuminated signage to monument signs, interior signage, ADA signage, environmental graphics, and complete wayfinding programs.

While San Diego remains our home, our reach extends far beyond Southern California. We support multi-site customers throughout the United States, fabricating and shipping signage to locations across the country, including Hawaii, as well as to customers internationally.

We serve corporate campuses, biotech and life science facilities, commercial properties, hospitality environments, municipalities, general contractors, architects, designers, and property management teams throughout the region and beyond.
